On arrival at Scanbrit

All students are given a wallet containing town maps and details of social activities.
Scanbrit School of English actively encourages its students to participate in local social activities as another way of developing their English ability.
Students are often surprised how much English they learn when they are relaxing in a social atmosphere with students from all over the world.

At the weekends

Scanbrit regularly arranges excursions and tours to places of interest in the South of England. All of these tours are conducted and accompanied by a teacher or an experienced guide, who will explain relevant points of interest concerning English history, culture and tradition.
Full details of all the planned excursions are included in the wallet given to all students on their arrival at Scanbrit.

• Scanbrit has its own minibus to transport students to activities.

• The school social activities and the school excursions are either free or at a very reasonable cost to cover entry prices where applicable.

• Professional sports tuition in most sports can also be arranged if required.

Bournemouth

The town of Bournemouth has many opportunities for those who wish to pursue sporting or cultural activities. In the vicinity of the school students can participate in golf, squash, tennis, fishing, sailing, windsurfing and badminton. The school office can provide up to date information about sports, theatres, discos, and travel possibilities.
