Cambridge Exam Preparation Information

The First Certificate (FCE) course is designed for Intermediate students. Your course includes afternoon Study Option lessons of Cambridge exam practice with the morning being devoted to improving your general English.

Cambridge First Certificate (F.C.E.)
15 hours of general English language skills
+ 7.5 hours of specific exam practice
+ 3 hours of Active English per week
This examination is an intermediate level examination widely recognized by business and educational institutes throughout the world. Candidates sit 5 question papers - reading comprehension, composition, use of English, listening comprehension and an interview. The Scanbrit FCE course also includes regular tests, as well as at
least two practice interview sessions. In this way, students can monitor their progress and familiarize themselves with the examination format. There is a greater concentration on grammar work than in the General English course but it is taught in a communicative way to ensure plenty of speaking practice. FCE Exam Fee is £103.

+ Active English
 We provide all full time students with free Active English workshops.
They provide additional language practice with a teacher and help you to activate your English.
There is a choice of Active IELTS, Active Speaking or Active Study, depending on your level.
There is a maximum of 16 students per workshop.
