English World Course Information

English World courses are suitable for students who want to improve their all round skills and performance in English. Our lessons are lively and full of participation, helping you to make fast progress.

In the mornings, speaking, listening, reading and writing are integrated in a carefully structured programme. In the afternoons, you choose a Study Option which focuses on developing particular language skills (eg. Listening and Pronunciation, Communication Skills, Grammar, Vocabulary), or you may choose Business English Skills or an examination course eg. IELTS.

English World Intensive	This intensive course comprises 22.5 hours of group classes plus 3 hours of Active English per week. This enables you to develop your all-round skills, as well as allowing special focus on specific areas of interest.
English World Semi-Intensive	Study for 15 hours per week, leaving you with time in the day to relax, learn in our Study Centre, or explore authentic local life and culture.
English World Combination	Make your course even more intensive by adding 5 extra one-to-one hours to our English World courses. This highly personalised course enables you to focus on an area that you would like additional help with.
+ Active English	We provide all full time students with free Active English workshops. They provide additional language practice with a teacher and help you to activate your English. There is a choice of Active IELTS, Active Speaking or Active Study, depending on your level. There is a maximum of 16 students per workshop.
