Academic Course Information
Academic Year Programme (AYP) & Academic Semester Programme (ASP)
Academic English courses are carefully designed to help you gain full confidence in communicating in English over a period of 6 or 9 months. Your programme is planned so you study effectively, improve your English and take at least one recognised examination (IELTS or Cambridge).
There are 32 weeks of tuition on an AYP, and 24 weeks of tuition on an ASP. You may extend your course by adding four weeks of holiday on an AYP, and two weeks on an ASP. We offer a full time programme or a part time programme (AYP Semi-Intensive and ASP Semi-Intensive).

The Academic Semester Programme (ASP) is planned so you study effectively, improve your English and take at least one recognised examination (IELTS or Cambridge - any examination fees are not included in the price). This course consists of 22.5 hours of group classes + 3 hours of Active English per week. There are 24 weeks of tuition on an ASP. You may extend your course by adding two weeks on an ASP. |
| Academic Year Intensive (32 weeks) AYP |
The Academic Year (AYP) programme is planned so you study effectively, improve your English and take at least one recognised examination (IELTS or Cambridge - any examination fees are not included in the price). This course consists of 22.5 hours of group classes + 3 hours of Active English per week. There are 32 weeks of tuition on an AYP. You may extend your course by adding four weeks of holiday on an AYP. |

We provide all full time students with free Active English workshops.
They provide additional language practice with a teacher and help you to activate your English. There is a choice of Active IELTS, Active Speaking or Active Study, depending on your level. There is a maximum of 16 students per workshop. |
