Academic Year Programme Information
Academic Year Programme (AYP) & Academic Semester Programme (ASP)
Academic English courses are carefully designed to help you gain full confidence in communicating in English over a period of 6 or 9 months. Your programme is planned so you study effectively, improve your English and take at least one recognised examination (IELTS or Cambridge).
There are 32 weeks of tuition on an AYP, and 24 weeks of tuition on an ASP. You may extend your course by adding four weeks of holiday on an AYP, and two weeks on an ASP. We offer a full time programme or a part time programme (AYP Semi-Intensive and ASP Semi-Intensive).

The Academic Semester Programme (ASP) is planned so you study effectively, improve your English and take at least one recognised examination (IELTS or Cambridge - any examination fees are not included in the price). This course consists of 25 hours of group classes (=33 lessons of 45 minutes) per week. |

Notes
- Course fees include all tuition, loan of course books, course file, vocabulary notebook and a Certificate of Achievement.
- There are no lessons on 1st January, 25th and 26th December. Students are offered replacement lessons on other days in the same week.
- IELTS - These tests are held every month in Bournemouth. The examination entry fee is £115 for IELTS. Students should be aware that for IELTS, the entry deadline is approximately 6 weeks prior to the Exam date.
- Public exams take place on the following dates in 2010:
FCE - March 13th, June 12th, August 28th & 11th December
The examination entry fee is £115 for FCE. Students should be aware that Cambridge exams have an entry deadline that closes approximately 12 weeks before the Exam takes place.
