HEALTH INSURANCE

Students are encouraged to discuss any welfare problems with the appropriate member of the school staff. Information regarding medical treatment is readily available. Your host family is able to arrange a doctor's or dentist's appointment for you if it becomes necessary. If you are from an E.U. country, you will not have to pay for medical treatment except for a prescription charge. However, long term illness which may require hospital treatment could be costly. In the case of non E.U. countries, it is the doctor's discretion how much (if anything) is charged. We strongly advise all students to obtain medical insurance before arriving in England.
