Learn English in Bournemouth

Welcome to the Scanbrit School of English. We are an English language school based in the seaside town of Bournemouth on the South Coast of England.

We have a wide range of English language courses for young adults and adults. These programmes cover; general English, exam courses including Cambridge FCE exam preparation and IELTS, academic programmes and individual tuition. Students can study throughout the year on short intensive courses or long courses or tailor-made one-to-one programmes.

Learners receive much more than just lessons. Our complete programme gives you lots of opportunities to develop your English throughout the whole day. From the beginning of the day in your homestay, during your lessons or after school with your friends, you are encouraged to interact and speak English.

We also provide a Summer Programme for Young Learners between 14 and 17. From June to August, teenagers can benefit from a structured programme including 15 lessons per week, host family accommodation, leisure programme and at least one full-day excursion per week.
